Local

Remodeling in Delray Beach

Delray Beach asks different things of a contractor depending on the street:

1Cottages east of Swinton Avenue: old framing, shallow crawl spaces and small rooms, where the plan has to respect what the structure can take

2Historic districts: exterior changes in areas such as Del-Ida Park and the Marina district are reviewed by the city, so we separate interior work, which can start sooner, from anything seen from the street

355+ communities and condos: associations in places like Kings Point control work hours, deliveries and debris, and want insurance documents on file first

4Homes west of Military Trail: newer construction where the work is usually an update of kitchens, baths and floors, not repair

Budget

What General Contractor Delray Beach Projects Cost

The size of the job sets the budget. Typical 2026 figures for the kinds of projects we take:

$One room, such as a bathroom: commonly $3,500 to $30,000 depending on size and finishes (Angi, 2026)

$$A kitchen: $15,000 to $60,000 for most projects, more when the layout changes (Block Renovation, 2026)

$$$Several rooms or the whole house: about $100 to $400 per square foot (Angi, House Remodel Cost, 2026)

+High-end finishes throughout: $300 to $600 per square foot or more

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you work as a general contractor in Delray Beach?

Yes. We manage and build home remodeling projects in Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Highland Beach and Boca Raton, from our shop in Pompano Beach.

What kinds of projects do you take?

Residential remodeling: kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, interior layout changes, trim, doors and painting, from a single room to a whole house.

How do you price a project?

After a visit we write a proposal that lists each room and trade with its own price, so you can see where the money goes and adjust the scope.

Who gets the permit?

In Florida a permit is pulled by a licensed contractor or by the homeowner as an owner-builder. We tell you which parts of your project require one and plan the inspections into the schedule.

Can you work in my condo or 55+ community?

Yes. We register with the association, provide insurance certificates and follow the rules on work hours, elevators and debris removal.

How long will the project take?

A bathroom is usually about two weeks, a kitchen five to eight weeks of construction, and a whole-home remodel several months. The proposal gives dates for each phase.
