Kitchens in Boynton Beach Homes and Condos

What we find behind a Boynton Beach kitchen depends mostly on when the home was built:

11970s and 1980s houses: a closed kitchen with a low soffit and a pass-through window to the dining room; removing both is the change that makes the biggest difference
2Villas and condos in 55+ communities: compact galley kitchens where drawer bases, pull-outs and good lighting matter more than adding square footage
3Waterfront homes east of Federal Highway: salt air and humidity are hard on hardware and finishes, so we steer toward plywood boxes and corrosion-resistant fittings
4Newer homes west of I-95: the layout usually works, and the project is new counters, a larger island and updated cabinets

Budget

What Kitchen Remodeling Boynton Beach Projects Cost

For a mid-range kitchen, South Florida totals usually sit in the $30,000 to $60,000 band; the national figure is $30,000 to $50,000 (Block Renovation, Kitchen Remodel Cost, 2026). By size of job:

$Light remodel: a kitchen that keeps its plan and gets new fronts, tops, backsplash and lights runs $15,000 to $30,000
$$Standard remodel: all-new cabinets, stone counters, tile and fixtures without moving anything, $25,000 to $60,000
$$$Major remodel: a relocated sink or range or a new island takes the job to $60,000 to $100,000 and beyond
%Share of the budget: 40 to 60 percent goes to labor, 25 to 35 percent to the cabinets

Taking out a soffit or a wall is quoted as its own item because what is inside changes the price. Background reading: kitchen remodel cost and kitchen cabinet installation cost.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you remodel kitchens in Boynton Beach?
Yes. We take kitchen projects in Boynton Beach and the towns next to it, including Delray Beach, Lake Worth Beach and Lantana. Call (561) 207-0354.
How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Boynton Beach?
A light remodel in the same layout is about $15,000 to $30,000 and a standard remodel $25,000 to $60,000. Moving the sink or range or adding an island can bring it to $60,000 to $100,000. A written figure follows our visit.
Can you remove the soffit and the pass-through in my kitchen?
In most cases, yes. We first open a small area to see whether ducts, pipes or wiring run through it, then price the removal and the patching.
Is refacing a good option for my cabinets?
It is when the boxes are solid and the layout suits you. If the boxes are swollen or you want a different plan, replacement is the better use of the money.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
On site, a full kitchen is normally 5 to 8 weeks. With design time and cabinet delivery included, allow 10 to 16 weeks overall.
Do I need a permit to remodel a kitchen in Boynton Beach?
The City of Boynton Beach requires one when plumbing or gas lines move, circuits are added or a wall is opened. Replacing cabinets and tops in place usually does not. We flag the permitted parts of your project in the estimate.
